LightStorm Core is a personal-use application operated by SovereignTree LLC (doing business as LightStorm), built and controlled by the sole owner of the connected Instagram account (@trev.world) and Facebook Page to manage their own social media presence. It is not a public product or service offered to other users, and no other individual's account data is accessed except as described below.
Through the Meta Graph API, this application reads: comments on the account owner's Instagram posts (including posts where the account is tagged as a collaborator), Instagram Direct Messages, Facebook Page messages, post/media metadata, and account insights - all limited to the single Instagram Business Account and Facebook Page owned and operated by the developer.
Data is used solely to generate spoken summaries and drafted replies for the account owner's own personal use, delivered through a private voice-assistant interface. No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising or any other purpose.
This application does not maintain a persistent database of message or comment content. Data fetched from the Meta API is processed in memory to generate a response and is not retained afterward, aside from standard, periodically-rotated application server logs used for debugging.
Text content may be sent to Anthropic's Claude API for natural-language summarization and reply drafting, governed by Anthropic's privacy policy. No other third parties receive this data.
The application server is only reachable over a private, encrypted network (Tailscale) and requires a secret authentication token for any request. Credentials are stored as environment variables on the server and are never committed to source control or shared publicly.
Since no persistent database of Meta content is kept, there is no stored user data to delete beyond ordinary server logs, which are not retained long-term.
